Reception have enjoyed their minibeast topic. They have identified lots of insects on their minibeast hunt in the school grounds. They have produced some beautiful artwork using symmetry to represent minibeasts. They were also very intrigued by a wasp nest that Mrs. Wretham found in her garden. Luckily there were no wasps inside it!
The children in Reception made a fantastic effort with their Easter Bonnets today. The judges had a very difficult job picking out the two winners who each received an Easter egg.
All children who made a bonnet also received a small prize. Thanks to all our parents who supported this event and came to watch our Easter Bonnet Parade...
Over the last couple of weeks, Year 3 and Year 4 have been very busy learning their lines and practicing the songs in preparation for their Easter Production.
This year the children were performing 'Easter Children'. Through this play Year 3 & Year 4 told the Easter story. They have worked so hard and were as enthusiastic as ever.
In their Religion lesson today Reception re-enacted the story of Palm Sunday. They have learnt a song called ‘Here Comes Jesus Riding on a Donkey’ too.
