Year 6 led a beautiful Advent mass in school this morning. Thank you to Father Derek and the children for beginning our Advent celebrations with such a joyful mass. The children read well and brought offertory gifts which reminded us all of the symbolic nature of the Advent Wreath.
In Year 2 we will be writing instructions.
Firstly, we decided to verbally give chronological instructions. In pairs we made a snowman, one person gave instructions and the other built the snowman. However, we could only follow the instructions so we had to make them very clear.
This half term, we have been working on decimals, fractions and percentages and the relationship between these areas. Tricky stuff ! We will then be applying our knowledge on past S.A.T paper questions.
This afternoon year 1 have been busy creating their own Christmas decorations which will be sold at our Christmas Fayre next Friday! Each child has made their own Christmas tree decoration so please come along to purchase your child's decoration!
