Year 5 and 6 have been busy getting creative to celebrate Easter. We have made wax resist paintings of Calvery Hill; Easter baskets, that show the stages of the cross or eggs to show new life. There were many great entries for the 'famous eggs' competition, photos of the winners are below.

Holy week set off to a 'smashing' start with our egg rolling competition. All children in all classes took part in the event and had an 'eggcellent' time.

The whole school took part in the Bowling Trip and behaved impeccably throughout the morning. Well done to the children and thank you to the staff for their amazing supervision and also to the parents who gave up their valuable time to help us on the day.

This year's E-Safety day took place on Tuesday 7th February starting with a brilliant assembly based on advice on how we can be safe on the Internet. Each class then took part in a series of workshops followed by a closing showcase at the end of the day.

Today the children in the Foundation Stage took part in an amazing music concert following weeks of activities developing their sense of rhythm and tempo. Their parents were amazed as were the staff from school and Oldham Music Service. This is another exciting addition to our ever growing curriculum!
