Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed watching the production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ during Shakespeare Week in School.
As part of the day, the children in KS2 took part in workshops to prepare their own performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ for the rest of the school and their parents in the afternoon.
Year 4 were focusing on Act Two.
The first thing the children took part in was the introduction to the play. Here they are learning how to exaggerate their actions. There was lots of fun and laughter as you can see !
Year 4 were set the challenge of learning and then performing Act Two for the whole School production in the afternoon. The children enjoyed working together and had fun.
They all had a great time learning new skills and working with a member of the company. Parts were given out and everyone listened well and took part . The children had a fabulous time.
Well done Year 4, you were so engaged and really enjoyed practicing and performing Act Two during this acting master class.
